Data Deletion Instructions
InsulatorOS is a software product owned and operated by Finance10XAI Inc., not a separate corporation. These instructions cover information controlled by the software provider. Independent subscribing businesses remain responsible for their own customer records and privacy obligations. Xertzy LLC d/b/a Insulate You is the initial pilot customer, not the platform operator.
Two separate steps: Revoke provider access to stop future access, and contact us to request deletion of information already held by InsulatorOS. Disconnecting alone does not delete stored information or stop your advertising campaigns.
1. Disconnect Meta or Google Ads
InsulatorOS currently has a limited, owner-authorized, development-only reporting pilot. There is no self-service Meta or Google disconnect button in InsulatorOS and no automatic deletion callback. Use the provider's access controls and our manual request process:
- Meta user connection: In Facebook settings, locate Business Integrations, identify the app used to authorize InsulatorOS reporting, and remove its access. The pilot app may appear under the business's own app name rather than “InsulatorOS.” Check the app identity before removing it.
- Meta business/system-user connection: Ask your Meta business portfolio administrator to revoke the relevant system-user token or remove the app's assigned advertising-account access in Meta Business Settings. Removing a personal integration may not revoke a separate system-user token.
- Google Ads connection: In your Google Account's third-party connections settings, remove the relevant app's access. Ask your Google Ads account administrator to remove any separately granted account access if appropriate.
- Notify InsulatorOS: Email privacy@insulatoros.com with the subject “Advertising Disconnection Request” so we can review and remove the corresponding stored connection credentials. If you cannot identify the provider app, ask us for help before revoking unrelated access.
Provider menus vary by account type. Revocation takes effect according to the provider's controls. Disconnection does not pause or delete ads, change budgets, cancel your subscription, or stop charges for campaigns still running. Manage campaigns and billing directly in Meta or Google.
2. Request deletion from InsulatorOS
Email privacy@insulatoros.com with the subject “InsulatorOS Data Deletion Request.” Send from your registered account email when possible and include:
- Your name, company name, and InsulatorOS account email.
- Whether you want to disconnect advertising access, delete advertising information only, delete particular personal information, or close and delete the full company account.
- The provider (Meta or Google) and advertising-account ID, if known, to help us locate the correct records.
Never include passwords, access tokens, app secrets, payment details, or copies of identity documents in the initial email. We will request only the information needed to verify your identity and authority through an appropriate process.
If your information was entered by an insulation contractor using InsulatorOS, identify that company in your request. Company business records may require coordination with that company's authorized administrator; you do not need to provide an advertising-account ID to request deletion of your own personal information.
3. Review, scope, and confirmation
Requests are reviewed manually. We verify identity and, for company-wide deletion, authority to act for the company before deleting records. We will clarify the scope when needed and communicate the outcome, including any applicable retention exceptions.
Depending on your verified request, deletion may cover stored connection credentials, advertising-account and campaign identifiers, reports, CRM attribution linked to you, and applicable support or diagnostic records. The current live spending preview does not import report rows into the advertising ledger or financial database; some requested report data may therefore not be stored there.
Deleting an advertising connection does not automatically delete unrelated customer records, estimates, invoices, or contracts. A company-wide request is broader and may permanently remove business information. Export records you are entitled to keep before requesting that action.
4. Timing and retention exceptions
We handle requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. For California privacy requests, our Privacy Policy provides a response within 45 days. If additional verification or a legally permitted extension is needed, we will explain the next steps and applicable timing.
Our general account-closure policy provides deletion or anonymization within 90 days, except where legal or compliance retention is required. A valid statutory deletion request may require a different timeframe. Financial business records such as invoices and contracts may be retained for up to 7 years for applicable record-keeping obligations.
Legal obligations, disputes, fraud prevention, or security needs may limit deletion of particular records. Any backup copies that cannot be selectively removed immediately remain subject to applicable retention and deletion obligations. We will explain applicable limitations rather than represent disconnection as immediate erasure of all copies.
5. Data held by Meta, Google, or other companies
We can act on information controlled by InsulatorOS, not independently held provider records, advertisements, or copies previously exported by other parties. To delete information held by Meta or Google, use that provider's privacy controls or contact the provider directly. Removing access to InsulatorOS does not delete your Facebook, Instagram, Google, or advertising account.
For details on collection and use, see our Privacy Policy. For account and advertising responsibilities, see our Terms of Service.
